In 1988 or 89 I was working at Tembisa hospital and heard an engine on the shunt at Olifantsfontein. I slipped away and went to the bridge near the Trade Test Centre just in time to see you departing for Germiston in a 15CA.

That old shunt was sometimes a nightmare as you signed on at 03h30 and sometimes never got back to shed until about 7pm. Of course when you booked off and looked at the next days roster it was hell to find you were on that same shift yet again. Home, eat, sleep and back to work all in less than 8 hours. However they were for sure great times in my life
