Mamamoo are so good that I have flown from Australia to South Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, Germany, USA and Brazil just to attend their concerts and festival appearances. Seeing Mamamoo perform live in concert is definitely worth the money. Their concerts are legendary and always run from 3 to almost 5.5 hours. If you ever get the chance I highly recommend doing whatever you can just to see them live.

Mamamoo is the best vocal group in Kpop. Solar (you mixed up Solar and Wheein) is my favorite. She's the leader and the only one who does not have any tatoo's. Swan from their sister group Purple Kiss is one of the few who can give them a run for their money. Mamamoo+, which is a subunit of Solar and Moonbyul has just dropped a mini album and there are 2 videos Chico Malo (spanish for bad guy), and GGBB (stands for good girl bad boy). Their ultimate vocal flex is The Immortal Songs Medley, which is a clip from their 2017 concert. Immortal songs is a competition show where the performers cover songs by famous Korean artists. Mamamoo was the first Idol group to win the show. They've appeared 14 times and won 3.

Mamamoo’s vocal line is Mamamoo! For a long time Moonbyul didn’t sing except for occasional low harmonies. She had trained as a vocalist, and her coach expected that she would debut as the makn vocalist of a group. But then she was teamed up with Solar, Wheein and Hwasa and was told to become a rapper if she wanted to debut. She became a brilliant rapper, both in performance in many different rap styles and in writing most of her raps, but she lost her confidence as a singer. Her confidence gradually came back, and she started to sing a lot more from the 4 Seasons 4 Colors albums onwards. Last year she gave some extraordinary vocal performances on a reality show called Second World, for female k-pop rappers to showcase their vocal abilities, and was the runaway winner. And now in the most recent Mic On comeback, they are at last using both her vocal and rapping skills to full advantage. What’s special to me about Mamamoo’s singing, in the context of K-pop, is that all four members have deep feeling in their voices. Each of them can make me cry just like that. When they all come together for a ballad that uses their abilities well (which is pretty much any ballad) the effect is powerful. Probably my favourite Mamamoo ballad is “Bad Bye” on the “White Wind” album, but there are so many others competing for my attention. The other thing is that they know how to deliver pretty much any style of music. They have technique, style, and feeling.

Mamamoo are definitely vocal powerhouses. They are always best experienced live as they always sing live and their stage presence top tier. Their concerts are said to be one of a kind that go for 3-4 hours and worth every penny. I'm going to see them for their first time during their US tour and I'm so so excited!!! You should definitely try to go see them if you can!

You swapped Wheein and Solar. :) Solar has the long black dress, no tattoo's and power vocals. Wheein is the black jacket and honey vocals. Also, they all have pretty successful solo careers. :) This is a great show case of their voices. But where they really shine is live performances. Their Immortal Songs medley is generally the most recommended live performance to watch. And the version of I Miss You from Queendom is amazing. Taeyeon from Girls Generation has a solo killing voice. It's pretty incredible.

I highly recommend you to check their immortal songs medley after this they appeared on that show in 2015 to get some attention because they were the first group to debut under their company(rbw). So basically immortal songs is a live show where they sing some old korean songs on it. they were the first idols to won the show multiple times which is rare (for idols) also they were invited to that show almost 13 times and they did a medly of their performances you wouldn't be able to hear a loooot from moonbyul because she was struggling with her vocals confident but she's a great singer too recently she won a survival show called "second world" it's a competition between female rappers from different groups and there mostly stand in that orther( from left to right moonbyul solar wheein hwasa ) and yes they are successful soloists as well

I agree with you about they make it look so easy. one of the reason why I love them is because they are good in what they do to the level that when they sing and perform it always look like they are just having fun, enjoy the moment, enjoy the music (in stead of look like they are working like other kpop group). And you know what? The one have most impressive vocal performance in this group to me is the rapper Moonbyul. Moonbyul singing Absence and Refuge (in Secon World contest), those song and how she sang it just touch my heart and make me cry.
