Hatred destroyed Willie like it had destroyed other people in Northern Ireland. It was a daft war as well. Robert Nairac in Crossmaglen walking in uniform and the in the pub near Forkhill pretending to be an IRA man from the Ardoyne. Perhaps that fellow had a death-wish. They say he was fascinated by Ireland. So the soil of Eireann swallowed him up and now won't let him go home. It's a form of love/hate. It wasn't just a dirty war. It was also a daft war. 🇮🇪🏛🇬🇧

@@olearyma57 Fair enough Michael but was wee Willie Frazer not slightly touched in the head? The Rev Ian Agnew Paisley was always a secret admirer of Irish Republicanism regards all the decent Presbyterians who basically founded that Historical movement for a United Ireland of Green Orange and Dissenter??? Bloody Confusing!
@olearyma572 жыл бұрын
@@flyingkunt7479 Wee Willie was completely disturbed .. I think you are very kind to him. He was psychologically unable to retreat from a very dark period '74 - '76 in the history of the southern half of Armagh and relived these groundhog years every day of his life. Like a blodhound he is up sniffing the air around Whitecross for Republican conspiracies a good twenty years after the last IRA road check in South Armagh. Turns up at GAA matches in Xmaglen, follows the Carragher family to church in Cullyhanna and trespasses all over Tom 'Slab' Murphys yard at Ballabinaby - both sides of the border. I think you are hugely insightful ..... Paisley also led a psychologically unbalanced existence. His whole being drew its existential 'raison-d'etre' from Irish Republicanism. In the final years of his live he drew comfort from being close to his only remaining friends .. Irish Republicans and Southrn politicians.

He was already brain-dead to begin with. He hated "terrorism", yet supplied the Mid Ulster Brigade of the UVF/LVF with weapons smuggled from South Africa, when that source dried up he used UDR/RUC guns. These guns were used by the psychopath, Billy Wright and his sectarian murder gang who killed more than 30 Catholics before he was jailed and then executed by an INLA ASU in the Maze Prison. Willie Frazer also supplied loyalists with weapons in the 80's, as the short-lived, Ulster Resistance came and went, like a fart in the wind. He was a laughable figure, with hypocritically sinister undertones. The world in general, but Ireland in particular, is a better place without him.
