As an Aggie, I had a bad feeling going into this game. Congrats SC. The atmosphere at Williams-Brice was incredible. One of the best crows I’ve ever seen. I’m not going to lie, it did feel kind of good to see a fanbase rush the field after beating us. That means we are trending up right??

The way Sellers stayed up and extended plays while we chased him all over the backfield was insane. That first drive when our LB hit him for what should have been a 10 yard sack? Nah he just slides off and makes a 20 yard pass. That was the whole game in a nutshell.

This was a beat down through and through, and SC deserves total credit for a great game played from literally the first play. This was definitely SCs super bowl and they had two weeks to prepare. They absolutely seemed to be the more intense team. Also, who wants to lose their homecoming game, right? We looked flat. I think it was an important game for A&M, but not a "big" game and I think that was one of the problems. They've now beat us twice in ten years or something like that? They were unranked. I don't doubt the coaches were telling the locker room not to sleep on these guys, but I definitely believe there was some "Arkansas had a running qb, and we did well there" and "LSU beat them and we destroyed LSU". I'm not saying it's right, but I'm betting there was some of that thinking, even if it wasn't being publicly said. Beating LSU and looking toward t.u. I'm actually glad this happened. This will reinforce to the locker room you can't look past anyone or assume anything in this league. You don't have an issue getting up for rivalry games (LSU, t.u) or games against ranked opponents, but you also have to have that same level of intensity with the "other" games. I'm still very happy with Elko's progress in year 1.

I was at the Game. All I can say, is if you have not been to a night game in willy b, and you love college ball, you have to put it on your bucket list. My kid are still very young, but I have been taking them to games since they were each around 6 months old. Not one of my two kiddos has ever asked to leave or "when is the game going to be over". Heck, I can hardly get my 5 year old son to go pee. He doesn't want to leave his seat and when the game is over. It's a tragedy that SC didn't get at least one of those games against LSU or Bama because this team could play with anyone in the CFP. Yes, the offense is wildly inconsistent, but defense can keep you in any game, and the Gamecocks have the best defense in the country. A&M had 25 missed tackles according to PFF. Probably higher than that. That led to 530 yards of offense for SCAR. I don’t care who you are, you play that sloppy and you’re probably going to lose. Hats off to SCAR for taking advantage of it.

Moss had a full head of steam and ran straight into #7. Just so you know, Emmanwori can HIT. I tried to tell you Aggies found fools gold in that win against LSU. Told Reed was not a good QB because he would have been playing already. Great win by Gamecocks. As far as wins in the Beamer era, don't forget the one over Tennessee two years ago. I believe Tennessee was rated higher then than Texas A&M this year. Both great wins.

A&M was ranked properly preseason- we are to 25, not top 15. Fl Arkansas and Mizzu were dud signature wins and LSU lost that game. We did not win it.

While I am happy that we won the game and left no doubt about it but, personally I don't think this win was worthy of a field storming. Field storming should be reserved for upsetting proven top 5 teams. Not an untested, over rated team. We were the better team and should have won and we did.

I've been telling everyone all year SC is underrated. Thought Aggies would win this game though. Wasn't expecting the defense to forget how to tackle. The 4th and 1 calls within the 35 yard line were pretty poor calls against that SC DL. Even down 30-20 late in the third I thought the Aggies would win this game. The INT in SC territory killed that momentum and SC never looked back. Also the refs cost A&M at least 10 points in this one (defensive holding before the half that negated a turnover, Marcel's "fumble" where his arm is going forward") but still a convincing win from SC.
