Carolina ACE in TR got in a emergency delivery of chainsaws amd generators and will be open at 10am sunday to assist anyone they also are filling propane tanks , they have been open the last two days really making a difference for folks around town

Because the power lines mainly in the south need to be upgraded and ran underground, this same system has been around too long for the same results over,over,over,over and over. The same hanging power lines for decades, nothing will change nor improve until the power companies go underground.

They are saying parts of Spartanburg County could be without power as long as Monday, Oct 7. Thankfully our property wasn't damaged badly, but ot everyone in our town was so lucky.

@@markberryhill2715 Thanks for replying. Got a hold of my cousin and he and his family are OK but have no electricity. He actually lives inside the BJU campus. Hope you and your family are also OK. You guys in the "Upstate" region got hit hard which I have heard is unusual when there is a huracane. Last time I was in Greenville was in 2008.
