I gave this video a chance being from South Carolina I knew the stories I might hear would be ones I already knew. But had no idea about all the mispronunciations. Ediso for an example... its Ed-it-stow...Edisto Island. Lavinia Fisher's name is said as La-vin-i-a. Honestly when doing a YT video take the extra time to check out the pronunciations of a name or place. It takes seconds and google will even teach you how to say them. Its a matter of taking pride in your YT video as well as showing respect to the ppl, places, and stories that are told.

The story of John and Lavinia Fisher is not how the story happened. I don’t know where this version of the story came from but it is wrong. I know the real story, I grew up in Charleston. I wish people who do these You Tube stories would do research to tell the true story. This story never happened this way.
