Fines, jail time, asset seizure lifetime ban from fishing and community service. Illegal methods of take, under sized fish, over limits of fish, take of endangered species they could not break any more laws. They new what they were doing, make them pay for it. Laws have maximum damage awards that can be assessed to criminals for a reason that almost never get imposed. These two deserve maximum sentences.

It takes a special kind of person to commit illegal fishing crimes. I am still wondering if they planned to eat the sawfish or what they were thinking? Sawfish are closely related to skate and other stingrays. Skate are one of the most difficult fish to filet. They killed a fish they probably don't have the skills to even turn into food. Pure idiots
