I grew up in South Haven. In 1963/64 we played Little League baseball across Hwy 6 from where the video started. Been gone a long time. Love your videos and thanks for the images of home.

It's so nice to see you back in action and doing your van rides again, and I see your in great company! Congratulations on your son's wedding. How exciting!! These drives are so peaceful for me. Maybe it's the music, I don't know. There was one little downtown area that you went through that was so cute and I loved it! I love seeing the open road when there's no one around you. It just feels like freedom!! You can't beat the ending by Lake Michigan. I love seeing that lake. It makes me feel like I'm home again. If I ever move back, I'm going to drive down to the lake and wave to you from across the pond 😅When it's a clear day you can easily see Indiana from the Chicago side. I love this video, Paul! Thank you, Flo. Yes, it was amazing. Seeing my son get married. He’s such a good boy and he has grown into a good man. I appreciate you always leaving your thoughts. It means so much to me and I really mean that. It took me almost 3 hours to come up with the music for this drive. I actually had to edit it almost 3 times lol. 😝 being from the area, Lake Michigan has a very tight bond with me because I have been there so many times in my life the good and bad I showed your message to Miss storm. She had a big smile on her face and said thank you so much for your kind words. we don’t have a whole lot but I always tell her is we have enough to put gas in the tank and go out riding and that’s good enough for us and she agrees. There’s nothing like having a van. I am addicted to the way it sits in the big windows not to mention it feels safe, driving it. Once again, I would like to share my thought as far as meeting you on that day when Scott came to town, it just goes to show you never know what’s gonna happen in life good people come and go and I am glad that you came into my life because you are such a wonderful person. I enjoy watching your adventures and thank you for being part of mine. I always look forward to hearing your comments because you have a way of putting things that I truly understand and put a smile on my face and I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for that my friend . 🫵😉🫵❤️💯‼️

@@TheSteelCityStorm Well, I thank you right back because I really enjoy what you do and I miss your absence when you're not around ... yes, I take notice, just the same way I notice things in your video's. The day I met you when Scott was there will always be part of my best memories!! It was such a spur of the moment decision for me to drive out there to meet Scott and the bonus was meeting you and Steve along with that. I kept debating if I should go or not because it was a rainy gloomy day and getting later and I never like driving in the rain, plus I was thinking rush hour was coming. But I just finally told myself that I was going to do it anyway and off I went lol. I'm so glad I did that because I may never have met you if I hadn't. Scott had already told me that he would look me up when he got to Chicago after leaving Indiana, so I knew if I didn't go that day, I would still meet him later that week, but for some reason I just felt like I had to go anyway. I can't wait to visit with you again, hopefully soon. Lisa and I will be out there at the end of October, I think on the 26th. Steve will be doing tattoos for each of us that day. I was thinking while Lisa is getting hers done maybe I can ride around with you or something. I told Lisa maybe she can do the same while I'm getting mine, but she said no, she wants to film it lol. That's a Saturday though, and I know Saturdays are bad for you. So, if you'd rather, maybe Lisa and I could come back out there the next morning (Sunday) just to come see you. Either way I hope it works out, just let me know what you think. PS - Your note made my day! 🥰
