South Norfolk - Jordan Bridge eastbound

I remember the old Jordan Bridge. I worked for 12 years at the J.G. Wilson Corp. until it closed down for good in 1990 after being in business for 114 yrs. It was on the South Norfolk side of the water right before you got to the bridge.

I go over this all of the time in a very large truck where I can see over the sides clearly it is much more scary and beautiful at the same time

I went over that bridge the other day for the first time I thought it was pretty cool it's up there but it didn't bother me I thought it was okay I like it

i saw pedestrians and cyclists off to the right. is there a special area across the bridge for them?

Yes, there is a protected, award-winning Pedestrian Walkway open daily from dawn to dusk that is accessible from either end of the bridge.
