It’s crazy to see how this has aged and you’ve got different generations reacting to this show now and how they view it today. I’m 36 now and in 6th grade, South Park had just came out. I watched it every Wednesday and would wear South Park T-Shirts through most of the year till my school banned SP Shirts. We would cry laughing when quoting it the next day at school. The best part about South Park is you can watch any of their episodes, and it’ll give you a timeline on what was happening in the country, and sometimes even world events. Always up to date, and they write the episodes in 6 days each, so they can always stay on current affairs. Fun reaction for sure, thanks guys.

I was a jr in high school I think when it came out but Comedy Central wasn’t offered as part of the cable package but we knew about this crazy Xmas episode with mr Hankey the Xmas poo and all we knew was that there was a vhs recording circulating from the next town over bc it was part of their cable package and friends of ours tried so hard to get a hold of it. And was able to. I’ve never laughed so hard at a new show in my life

The reason God takes loved ones away is because growing up requires dealing with pain. Children cry and ask why my friend/son/wife, but adults cry and say “I want to be there for someone sad and in pain from life being cruel. I know how it feels.” As someone who is very much looking at life as a child , I admire grown kind hearts who support someone instead of feeling sad all the time.
