Actually this scene sucks and shows how far the show has fallen. Seasons 1-13 are great. Seasons 14- 16 were okay. Everything after is 70s Elvis (flashes of brilliance from time to time but for the most part a shadow of what it once was. 13 great seasons is a hell of an achievement. A season is like an album. How many bands ever put out 13 GREAT albums? None. Tbats how good South Park is. 13 great seasons and 15 more of not terrible, sometimes decent stuff.

Not true. I sell AT&T Tv cable door to door and the shitfucks raised the price ten bucks for all packages. The regular non promotion prices are worse than satellite cable which is retarded because att tv has a rent to own modem and its done over the internet. I hate working for AT&T because even though I am able to save people money in the short term eventually that shit is gonna cost the same.

I was a fiber splicer for a cable company for about 6 years. During that stint, this episode came out and never laughed so hard in my life. Showed this scene to my co-workers and they're all saying, "yep, that's our boss" Ever since we all watched that episode, whenever we got paired up together or with the guys in the bucket trucks, we would jokingly talk like these people in the episode and rub our nipples while we were splicing. Eventually though, I moved on to power lineworking.

They have a monopoly over what airs here, even to the point of restricting what videos we can access on KZbin and blocking access to sites like HBO Go etc. My biggest complaint other than being forced to pay for channels I don't want, is having to sign a 12 month contract at a cost of up to $139 a month.

People dropped cable long ago in Australia, though it never was as common here. Then came Netflix and everyone got on board. Then Stan came along to offer the shows that weren't on Netflix. People wanted sport but still didn't want cable so along came Kayo. Then Disney Plus came and took some shows from both Netflix and Stan and lots of people (who _never had cable before_ ) are now paying for subscriptions to 2, 3, 4 different streaming platforms just to get access to what they wanted from a single, affordable streaming service. The cycle is restarting. People are even going back to torrents ffs!

We were doing that for free in the late 90's and early 00's. It's gotten far more expensive to use the internet for entertainment since the corporations just moved over here. Why anyone would pay so much for Spotify is baffling to me when you've been able to torrent music for decades completely free, then buy the album of the artists you really enjoy. Same with TV, Movies, even porn! The internet has been grabbed by the throat by all these massive corporations and has ruined it. Now it's TV but slightly better. I'll be honest, Tivo was better than any streaming service with ads. At least you could fast forward through them. Stop paying these rich fucks money for things that are and have always been and should always be free. Cause art is only worth what people are willing to pay, not what the millionaires want you to pay.

Pretty much. They'd even jack the prices up, and when the customer says "You said you wouldn't!" AT&T then would say, "It's in our terms and conditions that we can, AND we told you in a paragraph long after the bill total in a recent bill that we'd do it." My supervisors at AT&T, while good people, weren't that helpful either. They would either dodge the issue altogether, or just act INCREDIBLY out of touch. It says something when I eventually worked for American Express, and when they are a LOT more reasonable than AT&T, there are problems.

The elaborate portrayal of cable employees' self and mutual nipple massage, done in delight over cable customers' anguish and frustration over anything the company does, and including shirts with custom velcro-closing flaps for rapid nipple access, is something so weird that ONLY Stone/Parker could have thought of it. It is on a par of bizarre with Cartman killing Scott Tenorman's parents and feeding their dead flesh to Scott. It is so messed-up that ONLY these 2 guys could actually conceive of it and then accomplish its video publication for all to see.
