@ian_b4 жыл бұрын
@@KennyNGA I could see that coming because it smelled like Battlestar Galactica. They set up a whole bunch of stuff "to be resolved later" without any idea of how to resolve it. It was pretty much guaranteed to end badly. Both shows were all promise and no delivery. I never watched Lost but as I understand it that was the same. Teasing an audience with some great ending that never existed. It seems to be a major issue with TV writing teams.

"Isn't Black Friday supposed to be about buying things for other people?" As anyone who has EVER worked one Black Friday in retail can tell you, no, no it is not. I lost count of the number of times I explained to a person what a product was, have them look at me like I spoke to them in Esperanto, and still put the item in their cart. Just because it was on sale.

Post 2000 era or so 🛒 has changed A LOT. 💻 sales and delivery make buying easy. In Orlando, Orlando.gov the FL Mall went from nearly every available parking space cram full all day, night 2008 to around 2018, spaces full but about 30% 40% of the lots were available after 400pm. The shoppers…started showing up at midnight on Thursday. They…didn’t line up, they just crammed themselves near the main entrance. I could see their faces smushed up against the glass, licking their lips, waiting to get in. God the sounds that they made. It was 5 AM when they opened the doors. They were screaming. Blood. People…tearing each other’s faces off while holiday music played in the background. I saw a woman…pick up her daughter by the ankle and swing her into some old guy’s head. Before I knew it, they were all around me. Biting, clawing. Then a hand reached in, pulled me out. Old Cap…he saved us all that day. When it was over…front of the mall was covered in red, bodies, shopping bags. And now winter comes again.
