The South Park games needed a change, you can only make so many 2D RPGS and run out of mechanic ideas, Fractured but Whole basically mastered the combat system. And both of the previous games you actually got to walk around south park but it looks like a New York City train map. There was no way to freely explore it. This one was supposed to be in 3-D and we all know what that means but instead of making the town in 3-D they made levels that had nothing to do with South Park and Called it Southpark because it was just easier. I don’t see how Matt and Trey ever did a sit down and played this game and let it go passed them. Unless of course they don’t really play video games and they have no idea what good and bad is.

Maybe it only has 4 hours of gameplay if you set it to easy and blast through it once + immediately quit. The game is designed more around replayability and multiplayer. The maps even change up on different runs through which I think is pretty cool.

@CommanderCobalt580 Watch the video on KZbin, and you will see that people have about 4 hours of game time. I played on normal difficulty and collected hidden chests whenever possible. It took me 4 hours 15 minutes. 30 euros for 4 hours? Maximum 20 euros for this game. There will be DLC, but if it's the price of the main game, then the developers are greedy. The last two South Park games were longer than this "something." 4 hours may be an DLC, but not the main game.

See, too many people were thinking that it would be like stick of truth and fractured, if not better. To be honest I loved the game because it’s basically a breath of fresh air. And plus this game’s replay ability is great. I could only replay stick of truth and TFBW a few times before getting bored easily. But with this game, the maps switch up every time you start a new match. So while it’s not like SoT or TFBW, it’s still a good game on its own. I’m glad they switched to 3D! My only complaint is that there isn’t much in the overworld. It’s just one part of the neighborhood with Cartmans, Butters, and New Kids backyard.

Well, I got past almost everything, but I’m stuck and I deleted the game. The reason being there is just one part that if you don’t defeat like Eric Cartman or something, you have to restart every single thing again and that so silly. Also, when you’re at the church, you don’t know where to go there’s no there’s no directional to say hey go here. They need to have that in the next games I spent almost an hour trying to find where Cartman was.

As someone who's been bullied and outcasted his whole life and wants to love South Park again please bring back Phillip "Pip" Pirrip. I related to him on an emotional level due to the bullying and treatment we both had to suffer through and it really broke my heart when I found out that he was killed off. It really hurt me and I haven't been able to see South Park the same way since then... I really want to see him return in an impactful way that doesn't involve being treated like crap by the writers. Lets me just say this! I played the game for a few hours and it’s amazing! I enjoy the combat and the 3D aspect of this game! I’ll personally rate it a 8/10 from my experience. Plus, it’s $30 🤓 Now… Let me talk about the people comparing this game to their previous two 2D TB(Turn Base) RPG game. You can’t compare apples to oranges people 👏This *isn’t* like their two previous 2D games, ok? It’s a 3D action game. I already see grown people(mind you) bomb reviewing this game because it’s *not* like their previous two 2D TB games! They’re *literally* whining and throwing a kid tantrum because they *didn’t* get what *they want* and are now, taking their lil anger tantrum out onto this game. I swear, y’all(them) are snowflakes and will throw a tantrum for anything! If you don’t get your way 🤦 Plus this *is* a “live service” game! So, they’ll add more content to this game! That’s a big W for us players!

Live service games aren't really a good thing if your base game isn't that appealing and given how the SP audience were used to and fond of the RPG styles of gameplay, changing genres with a live service mindset to it isn't gonna make people hype for it even if others gave it a fair chance. The idea to go from RPG styled gameplay to live action service PvP game isn't that great of an idea especially when the past SP games had different styles of RPG gameplay to keep the game fresh. Stick of Truth had Paper Mario styled gameplay while TFBW had more a tactical RPG approach so a different RPG styled like Chrono Trigger or Secret of Mana could've worked if we had another RPG. Them making this big of a change is like having the next main Sonic game go from platformer to an FPS while continuing the story of the franchise. It just doesn't work that well even if you continued the main story or released it as a cheaper game. And it's fine to try new things and not feel burnt out especially when this game isn't expensive but at the same time, it's a follow up to two critically acclaimed stories from the franchise. It's fine to like this game and give it support as much as possible but understand that this game wasn't what people wanted and they're not really won over like you and others have. I'm just indifferent but see both sides of the argument.

I absolutely love the show. But the game not so much. I hated how you had to restart each level over again. You should only have to restart the current level of the game that you are on. Instead of all of them. I couldn’t get past the cartman level and I never got to the Mr. Hankey poo 💩 stage.
