I have to say Heidi finally breaking up with Cartman for good has to be one of the most satisfying moments of the whole show. I also find it hilarious how everyone started throwing up when they found out about PC Principal and Vice Principal Strong Woman. It's kind of how work places expect employees to react if two co workers were in a relationship/dating. I also love the IT and Stranger Things references

Whether in or out of work, It's common knowledge that dating a coworker has a great possibility of causing conflicts of interest in the workplace, and South Park is moreorless exaggerating that belief with PC Principal and the Vice Principal

Ike was dressed up as a "Royal Canadian Mounted Police" or a Mountie for short, they are Canada's federal police force, they have jurisdiction over ALL of Canada, think of the FBI except if they were real cops that patrol and have police stations and not just agents. The red uniform is iconic and it use to be their everyday uniform, and many Americans think its what they always wear when its not, they look just like regular cops, however the red uniform is still used in ceremonies. They also use to ride horses, hence the Mounted part of the name, but like modern cops they have police cruisers these days. There is a moto for the RCMP, that they always get their man.

Everyone puking over PC Principal and Strong Woman being together was making fun of how sanctimonious a lot of people were acting at the time when it came to co-workers dating. It's this really bizarre stigma some people have against it, so South Park dialed it up and had Randy and the others react as if they had just discovered a secret incest couple.

It's very not PC for a boss to sleep with people working under them. It opens up too many cans of worms. Like imagine you're dating someone working for you, you give them a raise, the office rumor will be "she got that raise cause she's sleeping with the boss" regardless of the truth. You break up, she can now drag the whole company into it, claim you coerced her ... at most corporate positions it's a fireable offense. Dating colleagues at the same level or in different departments is frowned upon too, but not such a big issue.

I'm sorry for the wall of text but you asked why people acted this way regarding them dating. The reason they are reacting this way to them being in a relationship while also working together. Was because this was during the time where the MeToo as everyone predicted it would. Had already gone from being sensible going after real monsters like Weinstein. But of course we had to take it to the absolute extreme. There was a lot of talk about how Co workers shouldn't date because there would be a power imbalance when and especially if the man got a promotion. Work places created new rules like NBC where you could not look in the eyes of a coworker of the opposite sex for more than 8 seconds without looking away. So as to not make him or her uncomfortable. I also think this episode came out the week after one of two things happened. A man one of the networks got fired for having dated a woman for 10 years. Technically he was her boss because he did have a higher position in the company. But they never actually worked together on something because she was working at a different department and had her own boss. That didn't matter media found out that they had been dating and because they didn't think people had anything to do with their private lives (go figure) they hadn't been public about it. So he lost his job over it. Because it was deemed that he held a power imbalance over her despite her saying it was never an issue and that she loved him. Everyone was too scared to say anything against the feminist at the time. Though I might be mixing it up with the radio host who also got fired for similar reasons. They did work close together but there was never any sort of situation where he was taking advantage of her. They simply fell in love yet the media treated it as if she was brainwashed because apperently women in their late 20s can't make their own decisions on who they want to be with. I believe in that situation they got engaged, that's how people found out and next day he didn't have a show because he had abused his power over her.

It's considered unprofessional for two people in the work force where one is the other's superior to go out. PC people in particular tend to be against such things, at least and especially when the superior is a man, as they perceive it as the man taking advantage of the woman with his superior position, hence why such relationships are considered "wrong". This episode really exaggerated on that by portraying PC Principal and Strong Woman's relationship as being something as repulsive as something like !ncest.
