It's due to their cut out nature. Early South Park was very stiffly animated die to being construction paper. These days they have cgi but kept the general look because it's pretty much integral to the appeal

Man I like the choices you made for the reskins of the original mod. The movements of them were flawless and I like how you kept the spirits and how their appearance look simular to the original yet also have their own identity and separate from it. Also you naild the south park art style. Something that would have like a Quality Of Live effect would be changing the notes to what the characters wear. For example, Right would be kyle, so something like green or something. Down could probably be kenny, which would be orange. In this case, The ring note could be butters, which would be either yellow or cyan. Up could also be Eric, which would be red. Left could be stan, which could be blue. I dont know, it was something i thought of and thought it would be cool.
