That song at 9:10 is a reference to the American traditional folk song "The Crawdad Song". My dad used to sing it when I was a kid. It starts out like this: You get a line and I'll get a pole, honey. You get a line and I'll get a pole, babe. You get a line and I'll get a pole, We'll go fishin' in the crawdad hole. Honey, babe, be mine.

@@dash.reacts yea, i was kind of raised on 3 different types of music, i got in to country because of my grandfather, he was a Johnny Cash fan, classic rock from my grandmother, she loved Elvis Presley, and 70s/80s hard rock from my mom, she loved Aerosmith, the country i love is the old fashioned country like Johnny Cash, David Allan Coe, Willie Nelson, etc. the new stuff is ok, i believe it gets more hate than they actually deserve, but the old fashioend outlaw country is the best, imo

@@Knuckles2761 Are you always this miserable? Asking to "let me know in the comments" is the most passive way to interact and generate comments on your videos. It's almost moronic of him not to do. Especially if it doesn't affect the reaction, which is doesn't. It's a choice, and you can simply ignore it. Plus, he edits in a bunch of references I had never realized or knew of. Most of the time when he is asking to "to let him know in the chat", is has to do with the actual show and the characters dynamics. It's not his job to know every little nuance of South Park, so he asks his comment section to help. But he goes above and beyond with this editing and finding refernces. It actually offers something past simply "reacting", which most react channels don't. It's really not that serious, and the fact that you're so confidently negative is insufferable. lol

Line dancing is huge down here in Florida, There are clubs that have hip hop on one level with a balcony looking over a line dancing floor. That song played on the fiddle by the farmer is a spoof of an old blues mountain song passed down through many generations. It's called the Crawdad Song and the original lyrics go: "You get a line, I'll get a pole, honey You get a line, I'll get a pole, babe You get a line, I'll get a pole We'll go down to the crawdad hole Honey, babe of mine" Obviously they switched the words around to make it about drugs lol but it was awesome to hear since my dad, who's from North Carolina, used to sing this song with me when I was a kid. It's a very beloved old tune, there's various covers of it including, I believe, one by Andy Griffith

My thoughts would probably lean more towards "what was the point of that?" if this sort of thing ever happened in real life and was done in front of me. But yeah. Who cares, move on. I wouldn't have it in me to do this myself but I think an appropriate response for someone to make in a situation like that would be to pull out a quarter, look around on the ground, and ask where the hat is. There should be a hat for passersby to throw money into if you're doing a street performance like this.
