I think this is just the beginning. They are preparing for big plans for the City of Gary in the future and good things are going to happen. I’m so happy they are making progress!!

@StayPositive-sd8op Gary is becoming Chicago's third airport, like Liberty/Newark is to New York City. Having a commuter line to service the Gary airport is a plus for the region.

Looks like a real train station instead of just a dropping off point in the street. I rode this train to work and to go to college. 💕

It sounds like there will still be that 2 miles of street running. Wonder why they did not eliminate that with a bypass around Mich City? Cost, maybe?
