A week of trains and a freighter! The last video of Goose Lake was taken into the sun but due to the lakes location it was the best I could do! Next time I catch it in the morning!

Gotta love these types of Videos as it Captures a lot of what Railways are all about & that's away from mainstream of Rail in terms of Back Road Branch Operations. Thankyou as this is really Majestic Stuff & So easy to watch. Regards.

The gnats and black flies of the U.P are legendary. At Michigan Tech I heard a story that the first man to fly was an injured indian brave covered in so many black flies and gnats that he was picked up carried away. Can't beat the lines of a classic laker though I've never gotten used to the look of the self unloading gear. Awesome video as usual, thanks Nancy!

A very nice new down on in the first part of the tape. Those gnats look like they were attempting to airlift your camera I've Got a Feeling with all the rain a lot of Wisconsin is about to get a bumper mosquito crop. I can't help but call it the Ma Barker and it was interesting to watch the preparations for voyage. Then to watch it go out and take the watery turntable really made the tape. Plus the footage along Goose Lake from a different perspective. So welcome back to that special place

A short train would have been the engines light.

That was a great catch of the train by the creek and marsh. There were a lot of gnats flying around at that location. I liked the portion of the video in Marquette, Michigan at the ore dock. Watching the lake steamer maneuvering so it could leave Marquette was fascinating to watch. You did a wonderful job of catching the train at Goose Lake even though the sun was causing problems with the view. Thank you for uploading this video for us to enjoy, Nancy!
