At least these guys are trying to rank with the eye test as well as results. In the SEC, you cannot overreact to 1 win or 1 loss. Anyone, including Vandy, will beat that ass if you don’t show up ready to play. Like South Carolina and Kentucky. What we are seeing with polls nationally is warped. No one is really ranking the teams first to worst. They are rewarding teams for weak ass schedules. They are looking at teams like ND and OSU and saying if they get by the one decent team on their schedule, then they will be undefeated. Undefeated against no one means nothing, ask FSU. So lets put them in the top 5. Well it blew up in their and ND’s face with a terrible loss.

But then their whole team left after getting snubbed so all of the freshmen and first time players started gains Georgia. But other than that your point is correct. Who you win against can matter more than how many you win

Louisville was propped up by the ACC with many terrible calls to keep them in the win column down the stretch and give FSU a quality win. Much like the bad call for Miami a few days ago. Didn’t work then and we see this week conference and there schemes fir what they are.

They also reward teams based on their name, in my opinion. No way ND starts the season top 5 if they're not Notre Dame. And ND can't even finish undefeated anymore after the loss to NIU. For a while, I've held a theory that the CFP committee has a short list of teams where, if you're not on that list, you're not getting into the CFP no matter how good your record is.

And it felt extra sweet considering that entire game, the play by play wouldn't shut up about Louisville still having a chance at the (then-still-4-team) CFP. After that game, Louisville fans tried to downplay the loss claiming they were more focused on the ACC Championship Game... only to lose that game, too.

I think BOTH LSU & S.Carolina should be ahead of Mizzou I think it's all about to catch up with Mizzou because they have not been impressive to date. I think A&M beats them and if they play the Gamecocks they'll get beat them too.Last year LSU went on the road and beat Mizzou in a heated battle, and people didn't think much of it because Mizzou was not considered "all that" just yet, BUT the Road win there looked much better as The Mizzou Tigers continued to win 10-11 games.(surprising to many!)...I think this year The Gamecocks are this years Mizzou '23. I think SCe wins a lot of games this year.

Im a die hard Vols fan but Arkansas is a good team. They have the ability to upset anyone, imo. After watching all the games this weekend, im worried about arkansas, kentucky....and don't even get me started on bama and georgia. I don't see how we beat most of these teams with a bad O-line like we have. Our offense is going to have to get alot better, quick. Arkansas is good in the trenches and they have a hoss at RB and QB. This will be a tougher game than Oklahoma
