Southend Airport in the 1990s. Electra Power part 1

I flew twice on an Electra in the 1960s when they were still being operated by some carriers in the USA. Noisy beast, but very powerful and once the whirl mode wing failures had been solved, quite reliable. The takeoff really planted you into your seat.
