Living in the States, I've always wondered what a trip like that would be like. I love that you include the local wildlife, absolutely brilliant! Thank you for sharing!

Great video. My family and I are planning to visit Africa next year and, originally, were planning on visiting only one country. We are now considering a multi-country tour of the continent after watching several videos like yours.

This is absolutely amazing. I'm looking at do this in Eastern Africa. You guys are the best! Do u guys have any tips for us please?

Thanks for the comments! Best advice would be to research routes well in advance and remember that the African continent is much bigger than maps would lead you to believe. Be realistic with what distances you can travel in a day and have accommodation/campsites booked accordingly because the last thing you want to do is drive at night!

is this a MTV music video? would have been nice to watch/listen to if I could have heard a damn thing besides blaring music.

Scott Couch If you are interested, I have a second video on my channel which is of lower quality but has a bit more talking. Often it is difficult to create a coherent storyline with speech when distracted by the excitement of the events! Cheers

Many rules broken, can just imagine the international headlines if that hyena had decided that he wanted a snack or you rolled the vehicle and weren't wearing seat belts and you publicize breaking the law it looks like!!!

Hi Chris, I would like to thank you for watching my film and for your comment as it helps me to ensure everything is transparent. Firstly, I always aim to ensure my films give the most accurate depiction of the events that take place. Therefore, I made sure to include a few clips from the Hyena sighting that took place on a walking safari, led by a very knowledgable guide who was aware of the fact that the animals had recently eaten (hence their rather bloated appearance!). He was also armed, just in case. Furthermore, I completely agree with your concern regarding seat belts. Too often do you hear stories of people seriously injured (or worse) because they were not wearing their belt when in an accident. However, I would like to point out that ours were worn all of the time when on the road and, aside from a few moments either side of entry or exit of the vehicles, also when off road. Finally, I assume you are commenting upon the speeding event in which I included a clip of the traffic fine that the driver received. Anyone travelling through the national parks in Botswana (or anywhere, really) should be aware of the reduced speed limits. At the time, we were unaware of the change and we paid for our mistake. I am sure that you can understand that this is predominantly for the safety of the wildlife, so I wanted to make that clear to viewers who may be travelling through the parks themselves. Perhaps I failed to make that so obvious, so I apologise. We did, however, gain permission from the friendly traffic police who stopped us to take photos and record video, just in case it would have broken any rules. Thanks and keep adventuring!
