I pray for revival in all faithful churches that hold firm to the word of God. I am thankful that I have an independent Baptist Church with a godly pastor who preaches and teaches from the word and will not bend or be moved to bend to the woke agenda. I dont really know the answer to this, but Jesus words was "There is neither male nor female you are All One IN Christ". Jesus also gave Mary Magnolin some kind of order to give the disciples if I remember right that Peter didn`t like because she was a women. Her name was actually Mary Magdalene. I don't believe you meant Magnolin. 1 Timothy 3:2 states that an overseer/pastor is to be the husband [so male] of one wife. Male, and not a player. Women may have ministries, for sure, but not be the senior pastor over a church. Hope this helps!

The narrative about the denial of Pastoral authority to women is not specific to Paul's culture, and only applicable for his day. ...Paul clearly teaches it's been that way since the beginning going right back to the Garden of Eden, that's why he speaks of the fall when refiring to women and authority. He teaches this Command transcends time, as long as the age of man lasts, and the Church exists till Christ returns.

I Timothy 3:2 clearly states that the bishop should be the husband of one wife. (Pastor, bishop, and elder all refer to the same office in the church). Genesis 1:27 tells how God made male and female genders. The LGBTQ movement wants to pervert the clear statement of Scripture as found in the KJV version of the Bible. By subverting this verse in Genesis, it sets up the subversion of the roll of women in the church as found in 1 Timothy 3:1-7. Nowhere in these verses does it say “she”. It says “he” throughout. Case closed - no female Pastors!

A note from 🇨🇦 The assertion the ALL denominations the allow for women be in ministry end up “affirming” is a This a straw man if I’ve ever seen one. I have been involved with several evangelical fellowships/ Denominations which have had some official recognition of women ministers for decades or since their inception a century ago. These denominational credentials range from “women’s ordination”, “licensed Minister” some even “ordained”. Sometimes these women are lead pastors, but more often they’re CE pastors, assistant pastors hospital and prison chaplains, Bible college/seminary professors etc. NOT ONE of these denominations show any signs of become “affirming”. I won’t post the names so not to arouse nitpicking of my past church BUT I’ll offer one denomination(that I have not been involved with) that has had women ministers for almost 170 years and is not “affirming”… The Salvation Army

It's funny how people preach about Jesus but don't preach the same message that Jesus preached - the Kingdom of Heaven has returned to Earth. Jesus plainly explained his mission for being on Earth in Luke 4:41 And lastly set the priority of all of mankind in Matthew 6:33. The Kingdom of God is a Government ruled by our Father Yahweh - the King of Glory. Democracy is not found anywhere in the Bible because it's based on Paganism. This is the endgame of Sola Scriptura. The notion that the Bible alone is our final authority so it's up for individual interpretation irrespective of tradition or historical consistency. That's why there are thousands of Protestant denominations because everyone has different ideas about "what scripture clearly teaches". I can't take Protestant churches seriously anymore and decided to leave it for the Orthodox church where the teachings of Jesus have been preserved and correctly applied for nearly 2,000 years.

The prophetic and pastoral offices are NOT the same. Read about what God did to Miriam when she tried to elevate herself to Moses' lvl of being both a prophet and God's minister to the ppl. God struck her with leprosy and made her think about her foolishness outside the camp for a whole week. Only a man can be both prophet and minister, and even then, they'd have to be an apostle to wield the authority of both offices.

Titus 2:4 tells older women to ‘train’ the younger women to be “self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive to their own husbands”. It relates to Christian living within the Biblical framework. 1 Timothy 2:2 says “I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man; rather, she is to remain quiet.” Its rationale is the creational order “Adam was formed first, then Eve” not culture. Elsewhere in Timothy it sets out the requirements of an Elder or Deacon (the two office holders) and they must be the “husband of one wife” and “able to teach”. Women can pray and prophesy (with their head covered for the angles 1 Corinthians 11). Women can sing. Women can do everything else. Why partake of the one thing God expressly says no to when there are so many other trees in the guardian, so to speak, from which you may eat!

@@stephanieblack2965 The Bible does not forbid women teaching other women the gospel, or disciple them within the local church. There is no scriptural basis for teaching ministries that are not based in a church, however. A women’s group outside of the church would be a gathering (church) without elders because an exclusively female group would lack a biblical elder per the requirements of Biblical eldership in 1 Timothy. I’m happy with women teaching other women within the church that teach other women and train them in the way set out in Titus 2:4, but this is not a preaching ministry; this is a one to one leadership ministry. It is a critical ministry in fact!

and this is a sign of things to come, as we fall further into apostasy by allowing women to preach over men, let alone have authority in the Church to preach. Women have a very special role in the Church, and a separate role from the Man, and when we live in accordance with God's will, both Men and Women find their lives fulfilling and blessed. I see this in our church (independent Baptist church) and other faithful Baptist churches.

The Assemblies of GOD Denomination has always had female pastors and is not woke or liberal. Were there any women with a degree in Torah when Paul said that? JESUS is our example and final authority. Women were prophets and judges in Israel. HE did not change that precedent. Paul did not ordain women. He did study Torah formally. His choice. Pray, Vote your conscience. The current Pope does not allow female priests but is "reconsidering" many bible based catholic doctrines. Not his choices to make.

1 Timothy 3:2 states senior pastors/overseers are to be the husband [and therefore male] of one wife. From a biblical perspective, a woman can't be a husband! Hope this helps bring clarity. 🙏

Mary and Esther were not senior pastors of a church. Please see I Timothy 3:2. Women can and do have other ministries though.
