@patmccrutch39275 жыл бұрын
The Magnolia Project what kind of crap scones have you been subjected to? Also, scones and biscuits are in two completely different categories... scones are sweet, eaten at breakfast or tea (or when ever because they’re so moist and delicious, especially with clotted cream) and biscuits are savory and eaten with other savory foods and savory food eating times. There’s no legit comparison!
@themagnoliaproject8645 жыл бұрын
@@patmccrutch3927 Biscuits can be sweet too, they're mainly eaten with breakfast in the US but if you're a Southerner then theyre served with every meal, and I agree they are nowhere near the same thing as a scone. Scones are gross biscuits are the business. Biscuits and coffee truly bring me back to my childhood. Monday mornings before track practice. And sunday mornings with grits, eggs, sausage and fried diced potatoes sauteed with chopped onions, red peppers and fresh parsley. Yum. God, the nostalgia.

If it is so good, why do you have to 'get used to it'?

Shortbread is the best...too bad he doesn't have some thistle butterscotch.

I order them off Amazon at least 4 times a year! 😂 They are my go-to snack. My 8 year old likes collecting the wrappers to make stuff (that I eventually throw out.)

The way he talks about the food makes me wonder if Scottish food has less sugar than American food. America’s food has so much sugar in it compared to other countries.

American food has so much more sugar in it than Scottish food, it's insane!

I have tried every single one of these, and I have actually LIKED every single one of them. And I'm from the mountains of West Virginia. Oh wait...my area was settled by Scots and Welsh....

He can take it. My roommate in college was Irish and both the Scott's and Irish love this kind of humor. If you're too nice they see it as being fake.

@dmchez yes he would remember real southerners are predominantly from England, Ireland and Scotland ancestry. So they would be begging him to keep talking 😊

Mary Mayberry Yep they all seem to forget that the english went there too Most of them think they are all Scots/Irish Guess it can’t be cool to have English ancestors

I think us ladies give Christopher a 10 out of 7 Robert Redfords! And Matt where are your manners you aren't being very southern!

Robert Redfords!? Nah-Uh try the same rating, but with Blake Sheltons instead, lol.

My family is from Scotland. My grandma came here when she was just shy of age 2. My first attempt at making the family recipe for shortbread (much like the Walker ones, only richer) I misunderstood the measurements, and they turned into little doilies. 🤣😂🤣 Super delicious, extremely rich, looked like delicate lace circles. 🤣😂🤣
