I head some haters talking about Purple Rain, saying Southern play it too much.. the facts are, Southern bought this back for BOTB 2013, and only played it at only 2 or 3 games the most this year. Which makes me believe they are saying this because Purple Rain is a Beast, and is a song that would be very hard to answer to.

A &M doesn't have problems with their identity.they have just been going through a really long rebuilding period.funding is down so until that changes the numbers won't change.when A & M entered the swac '98/'99 they were one of the few bands that was matching SU power and intensity and range IMO.but that was short lived as the program declined in 2005 and hasn't recovered since.
