It has always been my favorite clash of styles since I first saw footage of SU v.s. TnSU in the 80's. However, it didn't go down, so I made it lol. SU has that raw power that is unmatched by anyone but I also love TSU. They got that sneaky ass power and love how they arrange. 2009 is too long for these two to have battled.

SU has the win in my book. While musicianship is important, entertainment is also crucial.Right now I think the only band that could truly go toe to toe with SU is JSU. As much as I love the boom, SU usually delivers as much power with better balance and advanced arangements. TNSU definitely isn't a push over. I applaud them because they seem to be the only band to mix meac and swac successfully. They're balanced and smooth but still has some power. They surprised me last season giving the boom a big l. But SU is in a different stratosphere than anyone else.

look at how big TSU woodwinds are compared to SU. TSU cares more about balance SU cares more about power,so please don't compare power because it's clear that if TSU wanted more power (Brass) they could easily make it happen. I agree this battle needs to happen.

I see some novice mentioned tnsu arrangements. Tnsu writers create some of the most accurate and unique pieces in the game. Everybody can't play games, whole notes the whole game. Tnsu is diverse and always will be serious competition regardless of size
