Another awesome camping video. Eleven Point is on my list to do along with the Current and Jacks Fork which all 3 from the videos I have seen (including yours) are beautiful. I wish we had some beautiful water and scenery down in LA (Lower Alabama) 😀. I hope mother nature will be kind and give me some good weather in December to paddle the Current River. Cant wait for the other videos of this trip and I have to agree Grant and his group can make some awesome lookng camp food. Take care Dan.

Hey Jito- thanks so much! I said the same thing about North Ala water, too...lol!! Yes, Grant and crew know how to eat on the water!! I hope your Current River trip goes well. I had a buddy message me last week say he and others were doing it this weekend! It's such a fantastic river, as is the Jacks Fork!! Thanks again, Jito, and let me know how your trip goes!!

Looks like a fun trip!!! That Ozark media guy is making us gopro guys look bad! He gets some great footage!!! Also, I found me an old canoe that I've been paddling on my past couple trips. I like it!!!
@SouthernPaddlerАй бұрын
Ha, ha- yes, Grant makes a lot of people look bad in the video department (especially me)...LOL!! But while he has a knack for recording & editing, he's still just a good ol' river rat like me and you, Wes!! Dude, about to watch your canoe video- that so AWESOME!!! :)

Thanks so much, Mack! It was about a 6 hour drive for me (if driven straight through). If you get a chance to paddle in Southern Missouri I don't think you'll be disappointed! Thanks again, Mack!!

Glad you had a great trip! Hidden gem. Come back again sometime. FYI next time please camp in the campground instead of day use area. Could earn a ticket from that.
@SouthernPaddlerАй бұрын
Thanks, Scott- yes, it is a great area for sure! And yes, camping in the day use was not the right thing to do- my apologies!! :(

You should’ve checked out Greer spring. Well worth the short hike.
@SouthernPaddlerАй бұрын
My buddy Grant forgot it was upstream from the camp spot. We had originally planned to start at Cane Bluff, but he felt the water was too low and so we started at Greer. Hate we missed the spring, but we enjoyed camping there!!
@donaldpresley453629 күн бұрын
@@SouthernPaddlerI don’t think you can really see it from the river. No way to paddle up to it. You have to hike to it. I have a video of it at the beginning of one of our trips.
