Cedar/mango what a great sounding combo! Of course, it’s the build (and Alex) as well.

I like it that it's a conservative front and a creative back - the surprise element is special :)

I'd love to hear you play Blue Eyes Crying In The Rain during your demos. Would help me hear if the ukes have the sound I'm looking for.

Alex, the Chinese word for the colour of Blue Sky (青天) and Green Grass (青草) is the same word.

Great looking and sounding ukes. I think cedar might be my favourite top wood. I LOVE that first tune you played on your own Uli-T. Is that going to be on the new album?

Great video Alex as always. Do they ever build a KXT - TRG with the slotted headstock without the cut away?
@SouthernUkuleleStore2 жыл бұрын
Sadly not. The cutaway is on literally every slotted headstock model in the catalogue for some reason 😄 strange I know...

@@SouthernUkuleleStore On further reflection, an ULI-T with a Slotted Headstock…ULI-ST might be a Dream uke!!

What is the difference between sugar strings and standard Aquilla strings
@SouthernUkuleleStore2 жыл бұрын
Nylgut is a thicker stretchy material like nylon and the sugars are made to emulate Fluorocarbon with less stretch and a cleaner note.

I can vouch for the Softy Leathercraft strap. Ordered an Alaskan brown one from SUS this week that arrived yesterday. Have a Leathercraft guitar strap on a baritone uke but it’s probably too big. The uke version is “baby bears 🧸 porridge 🥣” i.e. just right. It’s lined (not all leather straps are) classy looking and nice and soft too.
