This one we have used for years....use couple TBSP of it with water like regular. Sometimes we add a little (1 or 2 TBSP) Ortega taco sauce in with Taco seasoning 2 TBSP chili powder 1 tsp garlic powder 1 tso paprika 1 tsp Cumin 1/2 tsp salt

Happy New Year! 💝🎉 Hope you really enjoyed your break 💝 We go back to school Thursday jan 4th. I also head back to work that day too lol We're all not ready to get back in the swing of things, but ready at the same time lol We have all of our activities starting back up for all the kids with Boy scouts, girl scouts, cub scouts, tumbling, pinewood derby stuff, church. Etc. Already tired thinking about them all lol What a Great deal on thise Ham steaks! And yay sale prices on the chicken! 💝 I went to aldi today with my oldest son,he picked out some things too, and i saw some Chicken legs (family pack) on sale for just over $5. I grabbed 2 bc were a large family lol so that'll be 1 meal lol But its what i could budget today. I had taken my oldest to a few stores to get some much needed school clothes. Boy growing out of his jeans and shirts. So it was on a whim to stop by aldi bc I was already in that town and coming back was going right by it. I was so thankful for my dad watching my other kids so we could go. I grabbed them some special treats there too lol Plan on going back to Aldi in a few wks when we get paid again.

Happy New Year & welcome back!! You definitely were missed. Great price on the ham steaks!! That'll help make any soup delicious. I was able to find the two pack bottles of vinegar at Sam's Club last weekend finally (they'd been out for a while). As for taco seasoning, I needed a packet for a recipe a few months ago & could only find one of those huge McCormick brand containers. It's okay as far as flavor goes. We still have more than half of it so I won't be needing taco seasoning for a long time 😂.

Hi Tamara I make a peanut butter cream pie. Just make your custard then when its thick add a 1/4 cup peanut butter. Top with meringue or whipped topping. It is delicious!

Happy New Year! I am the same way with the taco seasoning. I have yet to find a good homemade recipe. We like the Taco Bell seasoning and we keep that on hand too. I was told to try Mexican Oregano. It’s not grown here, and I have to try and order it and see if that’s the why of it.

Since you make so much of your own bread, what do you recommend to buy or stock up on for your yeast supply? Right now I'm getting the individual packets from the store but I'm curious how others buy their yeast and store it. Also I made begals using your milk and honey recipe and I will never buy store bought again!! Thank you so much again for sharing such a great recipe!!

I buy it in bulk and freeze it. A lot cheaper and easier than the little packets. I keep a mason jar of it in the fridge that’s what I use daily and restock from the freezer as needed. So glad you loved the bagels!! ❤️❤️

I have 2 questions. What kinds of teas do you like and how do you prepare them insofar as sweetener or milk or whatever you add to them after brewing? We are not huge chocolate fans here so do you have any other ideas for brownie like desserts to make?

Hey, I use honey for sweetener. Sometimes I add cream or use milk but not a lot. Mostly just water and tea bag. I like herbal teas. I’m going to start making my own herbal tea blend soon!😊
