I like him, I don't agree with his selections at times, but he has got us a lot further than any England coach for years, he's just missing that trophy, which is possible with our players. *Sits back and waits for the toxic comments like: He hasn't won anything, are you happy with that?

Is anyone going to get behind the manager who took us to the final of a major tournament? Who has us excited by the ability and potential of this side? Yeah I think sometimes his choices are a bit defensive, but his track record in tournaments is better than any other manager since Alf Ramsey. We have tried Capello, we tried big names, we didn't even get there under Venables. Let's try backing this guy for once. Some of you act like Bellingham, Foden, Saka and Kane can win it by themselves and it just needs anyone in the manager seat. Wake up.

Spot on mate, I've always backed Gareth and will continue to do so until he leaves, since he's taken charge he's taken England to more knockout games in tournaments than previous managers since 66 combined! He's given us brilliant memories and he deserves to get his hands on a trophy for the job he's done, I don't understand why people hate him so much

All of that is a distraction I think from what really matters, which is that he's able to manage the modern footballer effectively in international tournaments.

No he doesn't. He should have won that tournament and we should have been in the final of the 2018 world cup and challenged France. He has done nothing. He is tactically poor and doesn't understand how to select players. He is a shocking manager and anyone who disagrees hasn't played football at any level above Sunday league.
