Would they hire a manager with little to no success at a major club? Yes, they've done it multiple times. Only in England do you have to have competed for major league titles and or the Champions League to get a decent club job. Also helps if you're from an in vogue foreign country. Which is why there'll never be a top England manager again, because the English managers that could be that aren't any chances to prove it. Even if you only look at managers that have only had success at international level, they've all done it. Rijkaard, Lopetegui and Klinsmann only had managed international teams. Big European clubs don't misplace so much emphasis on the manager, which is why theirs get a chance and England's don't.

Watch United People’s channel video on Gary’s career and you’ll realised that he’s a very good player. He became a good right back. The first few years he wasnt very good. Obviously wasnt good enough to play his preferred position at CB. Fergie just seemed to stick anyone in at RB. Paul parker was good enough for CB, so put him RB. As mentioned there with Keano, we'll stick you RB for a while. Phil nev, john o shea, wes brown, smalling all played quite a few games there. I think because a lot of those players could play other positions they became squad players. Gary wasnt good enough to play other positions so was left at RB (occassionally back in at CB if there were injuries).....If gary was playing RB for another club would United have signed him? I think Gary's take on which position is the most difficult is 100% spot on. GK and CF are both the two most isolated positions. CF you have to be insanely patient and, like he said, receive the ball with your back against play. GK you're inside your own head the entire game and have to be on it immediately when called upon, and every single mistake is scrutinized.

37:55 Ian Wright saying that Southgate will look the part for Man United by not standing on the line with his big polo necks like ETH is one of the most laughable reasons I've heard yet for giving him the Man Utd job! I'm surprised Keane let him away with that.

Well he was correct in what he said, "Southgate LOOKS the part" in so far as he can dress the part. Whereas EtH doesn't "look the part" 🤷‍♀️ I can't stand Southgate, I'd love EtH to be given at least another season, but as far as "looking" like a United manager goes, Southgate wins! EtH is dressed head to toe in Paul Smith, so I cannot understand why his top's and jackets are always too big for him!

The constant disrespect of Gary Neville is astounding. He is the greatest RB the Premier League has ever seen, and won absolutely everything. In the historic Treble winning season, he played 34/38 games in the Premier League, every FA Cup game and every Champions League game! Neville had more assists than Ashley Cole, Kyle Walker, Lee Dixon, Kieran Trippier, Bacary Sagna and Pablo Zabeleta - COMBINED. He had a 37% clean sheet record which is absolutely astounding and only Lee Dixon from the previous list came anywhere close to that. He played in great teams but helped them become great. He played in less great teams but still managed to win things with them. And finally if you needed any more proof, Arsene Wenger said Gary Neville was the greatest ever English right back.

On the rivalries between City vs Liverpool & United vs Arsenal - In order to play against Pep you can either play counter attack like Ole & Jurgen had joy with or you have to play better in possession than his teams But United vs Arsenal were firery encounters where all types of football were on display and although Pep has revolutionised the modern game, he has also taken pure football away from us also
