Southport - Gold Coast's Most Diverse Suburb

I have traveled a lot abroad. As a tourist, I admired monuments, architecture, museums. I come to Australia as a grandmother of three grandchildren. Therefore, I have other interests. The first thing I visited in Southport was the library. I can't describe my delight and now I understand why my grandchildren say that this is their favorite place :)

Been to the Gold Coast numerous times. Also been to New Zealand numerous times, but never did any walks beyond the hotels in Surfers Paradise or Tweed Heads, so I enjoy these walks you do, as I can't really walk very far. Done just about every bus tour available, though ❕

Hi Creator, it seems that Southport Chinatown area is much quieter now? Because of covid and alot of the immigrants have left? It seems much busier when I was there years ago. Or is it because this area serves more of the working hours crowd - Monday to Fridays? rather than weekends or evenings?
