However police don't seem to understand that if they had taken care of this problem and not allowed certain demographics of people to run wild in the streets to begin with, people wouldn't be fed up with all the crime and violence happening in their communities and maybe decide to do something about it. Also regardless of who the attacker was in this incident, its the fact that certain groups are so often involved in similar attacks in the UK that people now assume its them until proven otherwise. The alleged attacker cannot be named as yet, because he is a child. That's just the law. When the due process of the law has been completed, and (if and when) the boy has been convicted, the judge may allow the release of his name even if he is still not legally an adult, and if it is deemed to be in the public interest. That's just the legal process.

This is the Uk and the law has been in place to protect our young people for a long time.I live in Formby so very close to the incident and 100% of my energy is focused on the community that this has happened to and not on very unhelpful conspiracy theories. The perpetrator will be brought to justice in good time.
