💯 It's surely not fair to assume all of those people attended wanting to riot. Officers being sent with riot gear was intentional. Commissioners, media and government were desperate for it to kick off. They wanted their "far right, hooligan EDL" headlines. They wanted the aggressors and the victims back in the boxes they've worked so hard to paint the narrative of for years. As people pointed out, where were the numbers of officers and their atire in Leeds last week? Why have they they been so ungiving of information about the attacker? To some extent they've even been considered to have defended him by claiming a mental health issue - instantly dismissing ter'ism and claiming those images are of a 17 y/o with out giving proof. Everyone thinks he looks older and by a lot. These pictures show a crowd that doesn't really know what to do. A police force that clearly is one of 2 tiers turn up and frustrations were taken out on the meat sent to forfill the agenda of the people that sent them. The people that don't care for them, the concerned public, nor the atrocities taking place up and down the Country. Lastnight can't be considered to be anything other than planned. The people involved have done no one including themselves any favours. However voting for less illegal immigration for over a decade has not achieved anything either.

If I constantly made one group of kids behave and keep them in line and take away recess and such while letting another group of kids get away with constantly bullying the others and I knew they were bullying and didn't do anything and then punished the other kids when they complained, it would be my fault if the kids that were previously behaving suddenly rebelled. Our home secretary has suggested that those angry about what happened in Southport are far-right extremists. As if anger somehow isn't the appropriate emotional response to our children being slaughtered... I genuinely don't know what to believe anymore. I'm angry about what happened. I feel our government has not only failed to protect us and our children, but has also repeatedly ignored our concerns on this issue. Am I an extremist for thinking this?
