I am an old head 50 plus years old. And this young brother was the first Trap producer to really catch my ear. His patterns are sick. He reminds me of back in the day when the only thing I had was a sequential TOM drum machine and I would try and make each unique sound in that drum machine into an individual melodic instrument. That is what I hear when I hear how he puts his drum patterns together.

Everybody highly successful from Atlanta is also very collaborative. Their vibe and approach to team building & community success is unparalleled in music. I know guys who moved to ATL to tap into the music in the early 2000s who couldn’t undo their East Coast mentality and didn’t thrive in Atlanta. You really have to be from an environment that’s without hate and super supportive in order to succeed the way ATL Artists are doing it. It’s so unique so genuine and they’re all (mostly) so proud of each other.
