I most definitely flew on a few of these 737-300s in my early childhood. I vaguely remember being interested in the wings, and the parts of the wing that would raise up and extend outward during landing. (I had no idea about the terms for “flaps” and “spoilers” at that point.) I had a period of time for about 5 years between 2009 and 2014, most of which I had a fear of flying, but also never flew Southwest. I also recall the distinctive 737-300 flap extension noises. On my 2014 flight, it was a 737-700. things looked similar, but not the same as I had remembered them on the wing. This -300 wing looks old today, but it is exactly what I pictured an aircraft wing to look like for so many years!

That was an unusual approach to Love Field. Pretty exciting.

These folks need to give you a break re Ft. Worth: if you're not familiar with the area, how are you to know? And it's very easy to get disoriented at higher altitudes!

"I think that's Fort Worth over there" No bro. Dallas has multiple skylines..(like Houston but on a smaller scale) Thats just the Galleria/Midtown area. Interestingly enough the developers for the Dallas Galleria and Houston's Galleria/Uptown are the same. Hines.

You think that is Fort Worth?! Lmfao wtf were you smoking? I am embarrassed for you, Fort Worth isn't THAT close to Dallas at all! And its skyline is way bigger, the airport is IN Dallas, no way you would have been able to see Ft Worth lmao wtf.

jsvkia1 , there is only ONE area in Dallas where you can see Ft. Worth near ground level and just barely, on a clear day, on top of the hill on I-20 west bound at spur 408. Cool
