The GHO's are very beautiful, could watch them all day! With the state of this nest now it's no wonder they were looking to take over M15 & F23's nest!!! 💖💖💖

I assume this 'secondary nest' taken over by the owls is rather close to the other, what could be called I guess the main nest, of the SWFL eagles -- so perhaps that explains the numerous owl strikes, particularly on M15

I saw another video last week someone else uploaded and there was only one owlet seen in that one as well. Crazy how the eagles only had one chick and the owls as well 😊

I think there are two. If you watch carefully at the 2:25 & 2:52 mark you see movement of another owlet under Mom owl when the resting owlet in front doesn't move.

I'm so happy that you uploaded this video!! Although I don't like the owl strikes on our amazing Eagle family I still love seeing the owlet❤ If the owlet is 20 days old then it was born shortly after E23.

Well, that answers a lot of questions. Also, it explains a lot of things I've wondered about. And look at that baby. Close to the same age as E23. 6 or 7 days. Such a beautiful momma and baby. I wonder if they were nesting there last season? Or nearby. The way they harassed E21 and 22. They're not new to the neighborhood. Lol 😊

The owls 🦉 raised three owlets last season. Two were seen very often. One owlet disappeared after fledging.

If owls would work hard like the bald eagles they could have a nice nest too instead of trying to steal others critter’s nests. They too lazy to work. I love owls but sure wish they would find a nest “far far” from our beloved M15 & F23 & E23 !!

The owls are busy raising, feeding , and protecting the owlets from predators. They will keep away from the east pasture for a few weeks. Thank you for watching the video!
