I agree that the last guy needs to be away from alcohol. Unfortunately, he claimed that he's working as a chef. I worked in hospitality for two decades. Staying in a professional kitchen will not keep him away from alcohol.

We all have problems but that guy pouting that he can't pay $99 is disgusting. Think about the single mother that has 4 kids and is working 3 jobs. Take care of what you caused.
@melaniem4798Сағат бұрын
On that note, he probably shouldn't have went out and had a kid if he can't afford $100 because with the cost of living anymore, $100 is nothing. These people need to start wrapping it up. "I can't afford car insurance." then take the bus! You do what you gotta do when you have a kid. Dude needs to grow up.

You're drinking is bad when that happens, my brother went thru that, he'd lose his mind when he didn't drink, he tried to burn a church down one time not from drinking but from not having a drink, he had no clue or any reason why he did that. He's a lot better today but still struggling with it

Idk if intensive outpatient works. I've had to do it. If you ain't ready to get clean nothing is going to do it for you especially sitting 3 hours everyday listening to how bad drinking and drugs are on your life, I'm pretty 100% sure everyone already knows that mess will ruin your life. I ended up living in my van until it get towed away with everything i own in it, lost my kids to cps, lost my wife. I had to lose everything in my life almost dead myself before i went to get help. That was 6 years ago and i was lucky enough to get my family back and have replaced all the crap i lost. You have to want it is all my saying
@michaelpierce-yh7ufСағат бұрын
Yes, you've got to want it more than anything else in the world first and then do it just for you. It has to be a priority not an afterthought. I know....

My 2 cents worth…. I know how this works. I was an alcoholic for many years. I killed my liver and had to have a transplant. I did rehab x2 (of my own choice). No legal issues. I can relate to this guys struggles and health problems. I too had a seizure (Hepatic Encephalopathy). It was not until when I started having these health issues, did I make the decision to stop drinking. I have not had a drink in 4 years. My point is… he will not stop until HE makes the decision to stop!

If someone has dead-end thinking, instead of just playing hardball, offer helpful suggestions the person can act on. A manipulating man-child needs to be taught how to be a responsible and accountable human being before he even leaves his parrent's house. Both boys and girls need to be taught these things. 😔

Agreed and those lessons used to be taught by fathers before we ran them out of most children’s lives. We will pay a heavy price for that mistake.

if an insurance company is charging you $1,000.00 they are absolutely ripping you off. this guy is just being a whiny baby because reality is hitting him like a steel wall. While I had to become an adult the hard way too, I didn't whine and complain about it when I effed up things. I owned it and moved on which is what this guy needs to do too if not for him, for his newborn daughter.

A stroke at 34 and all the gross side effects of alcoholism on that dude is devastating. Even if he escapes the court system, his life is actually just over. His health is in shambles. @frankbeeler5819Сағат бұрын
Oh come on now, mikey, we all know that he's the only person EVER to have to pay a fine while raising a newborn and losing his job and walking to work with a suspended license and no insurance. Now that I think about it, I was treated worse than that back when they actually enforced the law.

He's being manipulative. Parents know that newborns cost almost nothing to provide for. She needs breastmilk or state-provided formula, something on her butt to keep from leaking everywhere and blankets to keep her warm. Insurance IS expensive. Find a driver or take rideshare.

I been sober for 14 years. I'm 68 and started drinking when I was 15. Been to rehab a few times and been sober for a couple of years in the past and attended AA the years I was sober in the past when I was younger. I don't believe in relapsed when I went back out. I went back to drinking back then because I wanted to.
