Mam...can u pls recheck this (38:40)....u said that police is sovereign function of state..so if police commit any tort , we can't sue the state.... But u/c- (SAHELI VS COMMISSIONER OF POLCE) & (RUDAL SHAH VS STATE OF BIHAR)...also in many cases....SC gives the verdict that if police commit any tort, state will held liable....
