I read "loving someone on the condition of being loved back can be manipulation well-dressed" once and I think about that a lot. Now, I have to ask myself "do I love this person or do I love being loved by them?" per my childhood neglect wounds

My last relationship was a reflection i knew i needed to see. I knew i needed to grow and heal but unfortunately the other person was affected by discovering and uncovering my wounds. My mother wounds to be exact and also at the time they were losing their mother and it triggered my unhealed wounds. I watched them grieve their mother and had never grieved my own.
