Soviet Army BTS-4 Armoured Recovery Vehicle

The Soviet tracked armored tractor BTS-4 (Armored recovery vehicle) was developed on the basis of the T-44M medium tank and is designed to evacuate damaged tanks from enemy fire zones, evacuate stranded objects and assist crews in repairs.

.BTS-4A based on the T-54 tank chassis
.BTS-4V, created on the basis of the IT-1 tank destroyer chassis
.BTS-4G based on the T-55 tank chassis
.BTS-4AM (BTS-4M) based on the T-55A tank chassis
.BTS-4D (BTS-4AD) - modernization of BTS-4 based on the results of the War in Afghanistan
