Hello, great purchase and running very good. Which Lima donor did you use?

Thanks! I used an old British class 33 in H0 scale. The spacing of the axles was similar, but the bogie frames look very different. I hadn't realised the base plates were metal not plastic, which made adaptation much more complicated.

@@robstovrailway Indeed, these base plates are metal. I have replaced them by a selfmade plastic baseplate, because I don't have the knowledge and the tools to adapt these metal plates. I wish they would use plastic baseplates... These Lima Class 33 are rather difficult to find here, so I would probably go for a BR216. Or maybe I should try to get a Mehano donor. They have bogie mounted can motors, easy to hide in the Modimio model. I used such can motor bogie even in the Umbum TEM2u, which has very little place inside.

@@robstovrailwayBy the way: it seems Modimio is no longer available on Ali Express. 😢
