A book about Italian Small Arms of WWII would also be nice as there are relatively few books about that topic.

The Soviet Union's innovations during WWII were fascinating, especially their emphasis on rugged, reliable designs like the Mosin-Nagant and PPSh-41. Ian McCollum and James Rupley teaming up guarantees a perfect mix of deep historical insight and stunning visuals.

Great idea. I'll have to check it out. I'd like to see you do a book on Confederate Small Arms. I think your past coverage of them puts you in the unique position of seeing many little know arms like the Tucker pistols. ... that along with modern printing and photography would fill a gap in easily accessible fire arm history. Lets face it... a lot of the info is old and the few photos are dated.

I'd like to see something like this but for the smaller and often forgotten nations of WW2. Either minor nations that weren't well-known for weapons manufacture and design, or countries that got invaded and occupied and thus had to put everything on hold for the duration. And of course Ian, you need to tell us your smoking jacket size. We want to send you some presents of our own.
