The worst is that you ragequit because dice, and the log back in 2 minutes later. After 6 hours i discovered the c/x key for charge ranges.. immediatly improved my game 🤦‍♂️

This is Warhammer Fantasy Battles rules with the names filled off. Which is fine by me. We need a proper virtual version of WFB and 40k with support for single player campaigns against the AI.

Never bothered with warhammer tabletop but tried this game since it was free. A few hours later i got the DLCs and am addicted now.

The thing about charges: You can charge into or out of a forest, just not through it! Your elven lancer unit here was stil in the forest and thus could be charged by the boars.

About the 50% replenish, its not that you get back half of the unit it's that you get +50% of whatever you would normaly get. So the weaponmasters have a normal replenish of 2-3 units, with the +50% that goes up to 4-4.

The more elite the unit, the less replenishment they get. Thats the balance since they don’t have costs.

Yeah, this dude is sleeping on the archers. They're so good, especially once you master hit and run tactics and know how to use your heroes to create distractions. And once you upgrade them, they can delete large units in a single volley before they can even damage your troops.

Check charges before you finish your movement with x and c. You can do it while you’re actually moving. Don’t have to wait till after

I dont understand how this game is appealing? Over head view of squares and rectangles and just statistics? Its not really my cup of tea. Not saying its a bad game though. To each to his or her own i suppose. And if anyone ask "Why are you here then" its to support one of my favorite youtubers.

Because this is the closes thing to it. Squares, statistics, and everything else. Othen than this the other options are, Bannerlord still super grindy literally from money - to all out war. Manor lord not as great as I originally thought still buggy, too small, limited, no adventure/journey, and just repetitive as hell, Bannerlord still better in my opinion. Total war still grindy almost realistic but not really as well. Now to my question do you know if there are any game like this other than the 3 I mention, that could give u the thrill, journey, adventure, and realistic better than bannerlord and total war combine? This makes me wonder about the future of games lol, I cant help but think about kids in the future playing games 1000 times better than bannerlord and total war and then they look at bannerlord and be like this game is shit😂. How could anyone play this ugly as games.

For me it’s the closest thing to playing tabletop warhammer. WH3 TW is nice with the graphics and all but does not give the same tabletop feels. Besides I can use my imagination to “see” the battle in my head, fancy graphics are not absolutely necessary.

@@jasontan3798 I do crave that though. It's just part of me want to see my units fighting for their lives that makes it more thrilling and worth it I guess. But I'm not gonna trash this game cause I play bannerlord or total war. Everyone has their own preferences and sometimes a gaming company will cater to those preferences so I respect those who enjoy these games. For me I still question how Crusader kings and Hearts of Iron? That popular WW2 game where your able to alter course of history of ww2 as you see fit. Those games I just see statistics and pieces moving. To others it's more then that. But I'm not gonna call them bad or trash just cause they didn't fit my play style. Still contemplating on playing them one day though

It's Warhammer Fantasy tabletop but in a free to play game. It's a godsend for people who want to play tabletop fantasy on the computer.
