Hey ho, so I have a sv08 too and I had the cable issue too but it’s an easy fix. Open the tool head and unplug and unscrew the cable holder on the left side and then twist it until it’s not tangling in the way. And i recommend you to print idk the name right now 😅 but it’s blocking the filament gear pin to get out. The gear with the spring screw on the right side. Mine came out so far and clocked resulted that the filament was not able to move. But my printer have now nearly 300 hours print time and a broken nozzle and print plate issued to the level error what made -50 for the z offset. But it’s a nice printer specially with the open enclosure. And to all others if you have a 3D printer Happy printing :)

FYI I had the same issue with my umbilical interfering with my gantry. The solution I found was to pop the reverse Bowden tube out of the toolhead and untwist it so it pushed the umbilical away from the runout sensor. I think there were residual stresses in that tube when I built the printer which were relieved after a few days.

I have a piano wire cable holder system, BUT it pushes the Glass plates off because of the height if carriage moves height. Been trying for produce a Tall riser in PETG, for the heat, but I can NOT print PETG on the SOVOL SVO8 without issues

Then you should buy or ask sovol if (your nozzle gets pressed out) you can get a treaded nozzle instead cause with them you can print without issue :).
