Lovely vlog Jessie and you have been busy and having to work too. Keep safe and well because hopefully we're out of the pandemic but only time will tell if we are. The turnip looks good 👍 and I bought some Brussels sprouts plants from B&Q as backup in case the seeds in the ground don't germinate. I have ordered volcanic dust for putting in the soil because it's supposed to be good for putting nutrients in the soil.

Thanks David! Oh fingers crossed we’re in the tail end of it now, eh? Good old back ups from b&q 😄 last time I popped in to see what they had, they were sold out of everything! I only recently found you and I've binge watched every vlog! Love your videos. My daughter and I started an allotment behind our farmhouse during the first lockdown. What a joy its been, so exciting watching everything growing. We had so much fresh veg and also froze an awful lot. Our triumphs were peas, broad beans, and runner beans. Masses of kale and salad leaves. The cauliflower heads all split and a lot of the radishes were woody, but all in all it was wonderful and now we're off again with a new season. I love watching you and your Mum, such an inspiration and the gin and tonics make it perfect. We always relax with a wine or gin each night too. Keep those videos coming, you're a joy to watch x

The worst noisey thing I hate are leaf blowers! A neigbour of mine has one and to me they just create a mind numbing racket - especially if you want a nap in the day and they just blow the leaves on the pavement or on to my garden - they are a complete nightmare of a noise that goes right through my head!

I sowed 'Flamboyant' in my greenhouse border soil in January and I've been eating them for a couple of weeks now - still some left - they seem to have cropped in a kind of succession - because I thinned out and picked the larger radishes first and left the thinner ones to fatten up.
