Jessie , can you just show a quick close up of how you made the metal grid in your greenhouse into a table ?? I've got some similar grid but failing to find a way to get them be strong enough and not topple over . I have minimal carpentry skills !, but happy to try ! Thanks 😊

I think all the British Gardeners are so Happy and one reason could be is that Donald Trump is NOT their president! have to say I'm a little envious!

Hello! I don’t grow potatoes, but if Idid, I think I’d use a Sharpie to write RD and C right on their skins to identify them. Do you think it could damage them? Very glad you included the Hellebores. Under-appreciated flower, they’re so shy. Looking forward to your dark red ones.

Hello, watching your earlier videos and I am so happy that in the past 5 years you have gained so much more confidence. You were apologizing for talking, you apologize for noises, comment on your appearance, etc. in the earlier days. I am proud of you for moving past that:) You have nothing to apologize for when you teach us by talking about what you are doing, your experiences, your opinions and ideas about how to do things.

Chitting just happens. It's keeping the stems growing a foot long that's my issue. Doing well so far, 2 months to go😅

Why dont you eat the leftover potatoes? We ate potatoes from the store that started growing. Nothing wrong with the taste and we are still alive 😅😂

Going back to watch all of your earlier videos and what really stands out is your teaching. You do an excellent job of showing and telling how to do things. Thank you for that.

have you thought about driving 2 or 4 stakes in the ground and anchoring the swing seat frame to them, to stop it blowing away? just a suggestion.

❤I only grow early potatoes and yes CHIT! I order a lot, but I chit for more so I can share with other gardeners. I plant March and harvest in July, which makes way for end of summer plants. Every year I think I can keep potatoes over winter for eating and find we love fresh potatoes for meals so ugh they are gone before Thanksgiving. 😂

Just an idea . If you drill a hole in the bottom of each leg of your swing seat and put a self tapping screw in each attached to a small chain . On the end of the chain a spike that is driven into the ground . This will prevent ir blowing away . Good Luck Andrew x

I chit first earlies too. No idea if it makes any real difference and , frankly,I don’t care😂. We get the seed potato in February at our local potato day and seed swap. There’s no way I could sow them outside at that point - our garden is partially flooded, anyway - so I might as well get ‘em started with nice tough little sprouts, rather than leave them sitting around in dark paper bags. In any case, as we get older, it’s less likely that we’ll forget where we put them if they’re filling the window-ledges in nice, tidy egg boxes, where we can’t miss ‘em. 😉

Watching back through your earlier videos. I'm proud of you for sticking to your vlogging for all these years. I LOVE your attitude, "I like it so I do it that way." is supreme confidence and I respect that. After all these years (typing this Feb. 5 2025) you have not given into pressures to follow trends or change your tried and true methods. Hoping to be watching your videos for years to come, no pressure:) We'll be here absorbing whatever you choose to share and teach:)

Oh, the bummer of the poly tunnel! We watched you do the new cover and I had never gone back to see the origins of the holes. It's frustrating that people can get away with destruction and somehow it becomes, "oh it's just kids"...actually, it's criminals:) I'm impressed how you coped with it.

Might be time to stake down the swing seat. Withe the neighbouring plot owner growing veg they might get a bit upset if your swing seat blows over and destroys their crops. With mine, I put stakes into the ground near each on the legs and tied them off to the cross 'beam' of the frame. It hasn't moved since.

Everything is so nice and green! And 6-7C/40sF 🎉and Sunny! We are 20s and brown😕. Liked the intro very much-relaxing and boy did I need that-thank you! Just got back from oil change and a bit miffed as it seems they all can’t wait to raise prices and gouge everyone needlessly. They lied several times to see if I’d take the bait. Said my power steering was making noise and empty 🙄🙄 I knew it wasn’t and called them out-it just needed a little bit and that was after two other things they wanted to up the bill with. I only drive about 3K a year 😏 and everything and no warnings were going off when I got there. I was going to go get potting soil, but after being so upset I just went straight home. I still have enough to finish up onions and get petunias, geraniums and begonias started. Love the chickens-so cute! We gave ours to a nice lady, but we miss having them and may get a few again. We have to figure out if we can keep them safe from migrating birds because of bird flu.
