Reminds me of my teenage years, running a John Deere 95R at soy bean harvest. You sat right out in the open practically hanging over the pic kup reel, listening to the 6 cyl Chevy engine grinding away. Lol. Ask dad if he remembers.

I really enjoyed your video today. I have never lived in the country always have lived in the city of Rochester NY and worked in a warehouse or factory, I was in the military for five years use to enjoy talking to the guy's who grew up on the farm. For the love of god man, I don't care if you trust the machine or not, if your hydraulics dont have a safety brace on it don't walk under something held up in the air by hydraulics. Would hate to have a "so he was crushed by the tractor bucket" post made.

$265. Parts are crazy expensive. Keep up the fine work. I am from a family farm (OH) a fraction of the size of yours ...Beef, grain and hay. Vivid memories of helping my father in the field and around the farm..Being the oldest of three girls I was the hired hand until I was about 14.

My husband was thinking that was a bad plug. Not much fun when not wearing gloves. How about a fire?? Lucky?? Lots of dark fines. He's thinking newer units with more sensors would have been screaming.That's smart the "Roundball Jock" had the son look at tail end of combine. Those ole "Fast Break" boys have the touch.

Hey just a quick tip for anyone running a rotary combine. If you plug..... USE A BATTERY OPERATED SAWSALL ...... the bean straw will be MUCH easier to pull out once you run a blade through it a couple times. Trust me..... youll thank me later

Something of the sort happened to a relative of mine some years ago. It was a Lexion 530 (I live in northern Italy, so the machinery isn't as big as yours). That year we had a BAD summer, the kind of bad where it rains so much you risk not being able to harvest some fields at all. There were just a few fields left but they were a bit too wet, but hey needed to be done. At some point, after turning around at the end of the field, my relative found out basically no straw was coming out of the back. Turned out the straw walkers were completely clogged, almost completely destroyed, and even after they fixed the combine, the frame still shook. Crazy one this one

everything has been too dry this year, we even had ash an inch deep in one field, plugged the cab filters good luck, fair winds and good rain.

America the beautiful! My Lord I love my country. South Dakota is prestinely beautiful too. I love the diversity of our country's landscape. I used to live in western SD (WAY different than this part). Now I'm back home in SE WI. It's always funny to me when I hear all the city people say driving through open farmland country like this is so boring and ugly. I strongly disagree. So awesome!

Oh man. When I work on industrial sites, we are fanatical about isolating equipment. Disconnect power supply. Turn engines off. Never assume a lever won’t get bumped and turn something on. Double redundancy where possible. (Power off and switches padlocked our) that’s the standard for industrial safety. Hope I am mis reading what I think I saw. Otherwise, thanks for an awesome video.
