In Texas we are 2 to 5 weeks from last freeze. Will likely have 22 degrees March 26th. 6 weeks before we plant corn and cotton. I an strip tilling to plant grain sorghum June 7th.

It is probably 70 degrees there. We didn’t have cab tractors back then.

Most seed is free replant and you are taking a risk no matter when you plant

Surprised your crop insurance allows you to plant this early?

You can plant before the early planting date and have full coverage. Just won't be eligible for replant payment
