Make sure auto bpm detect is on and use the SP-404 MK2 app, then play around with the buses and see what you like but I like using each bus to its own channel

This is super unique! As a DJ myself I'm kind of blown away at this. I have an sp404sx and I barely got to know it, I can't imagine where you'd even start with this kinda thing. Big ups to you! Sweet mix also

Thank you man! The MK2 has DJ mode which works pretty decently with a particular trick that I use. I explained it all in a video I posted last week!

How do you solve the volume trim problem? I want to go to the club to play songs, but 404 can not check the level, I am worried that the level is too high😂

In this case the songs are loaded in as wav files so they’re not effected by the low line in problem. To solve that issue I just blast everything into it as much as I can, usually turning up settings within whatever synth I have going into it which typically solves the problem. Also gain staging with internal samples helps as well.

No you need to use MP3, WAV or AIFF files

How did you program the songs into dj mode?

I used the SP app with my computer and dragged the songs into the pads that way

I feel that the choice of music is very important, 404 can not transition eq as smoothly as cdj,

For sure a CDJ rig will give most flexibility but considering the price and portability I think the MK2 does the job pretty well
