Videoed during a two week tour of Colorado. The backing scene has audio dubbed from TSG Multimedia of the actual event and audio from an Athearn loco with Soundtraxx Tsunami sound.

Im fairly familiar with this model of steam engine (got to spend a lotta time exploring one of her sisters at Laws railroad Museum) the desert princesses do not use DPU at all instead they had to communicate with signals between engineers though not sure how (also there are 3 of the Southern Pacific engines that can be visited today. . . on on display at laws (SP No.9) on display somewhere in nevada unknown exactly where (SP No.8) and ofcourse the slim princess herself (Location varies SP No.18)

Was in Colorado myself 2 weeks ago and was fortunate to see sp 18 in operation, it was my highlight of my first visit to D&S, although I didn’t get to see or ride behind a doubleheader I’ll likely get to in the future. And nice video too.
